Join us for our fifth annual Legislative Action Day. The APA-IL is excited to bring the voice of Illinois' planning professionals to legislators in Springfield. We are excited to announce our morning speaker will be Rep. Chris Welch, 7th District and Chair of the Executive Committee. Rep. Welch has served the 7th District, which encompasses several near west suburban communities, since 2013.
The APA-IL Legislative Committee is organizing a full-day of activities.

Nearest parking is available at the underground Public Parking Garage at the Old State Capitol, S. 6th Street, Springfield (Google Map). Enter off of 6th Street. CASH ONLY. Garage closes at 7pm.
#PLAD19 is a terrific opportunity to participate in our democracy at a meaningful level, by making our voices heard in Springfield, and establishing relationships with our legislators, while networking with fellow Illinois planning professionals. APA-IL’s PLAD events are designed for both first-time and previous participants. Students are welcome to attend.
