The 151st Plan Commissioner training was held in the City of West Chicago on March 21, 2023. A total of 11 commissioners, council members, and staff attended the session. The group appreciated their time together since City Council and Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals members don’t typically have a chance to meet. They were able to ask each other questions like “Does the Plan Commission provide what you need, aldermen?”
The training session was presented by attorney Dan Bolin, with Ancel Glink, and Tom Farace, AICP, with the Village of Carol Stream. After the training, attendees were asked to evaluate the training through an online survey. REsults showed that the presenters were knowledgeable and the presentation was easy to hear and understand.
