A Full House. A Full Heart. 6/26 DEI Happy Hour.

The June 26th APA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee Happy Hour was everything we hoped for and more — a room filled with urban planners, industry partners, community advocates, and emerging leaders coming together to connect, collaborate, and grow.

What started as a vision to relaunch the committee in May 2024 has grown into a powerful community of practice. One year later, we’re still building momentum, opening doors, and holding space for deeper conversations about equity in planning and development.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared insights, and stayed committed to shaping more inclusive, vibrant, and just communities. A special thanks to our Happy Hour Committee and all the DEI members who are hanging tough keeping up the creativity and collaboration! You Rock!
