This year’s conference will focus on Sustainable Water Infrastructure where we will delve into infrastructure approaches and products that provide a triple bottom line of social, environmental, and financial benefits. Our featured panel on Sustainable Water Infrastructure will discuss sustainability within the context of regional water planning, waste water systems, stormwater and flood management, and business case evaluations relating to water infrastructure. Learn about the Village of Downers Grove sustainability efforts and the Metropolitan Milwaukee Sewerage District’s Fresh Coast 740 green infrastructure initiative. Also, we will share the vision for sustainability, survey the audience about how sustainability is impacting engineering, and recognize sustainability award winners from the American Society of Civil Engineers - Chicago (ASCE), American Public Works Association – Chicago (APWA), Association of Civil Engineering Companies - Illinois (ACEC), and American Planning Association – Illinois (APA).
