The APA-IL Chapter is seeking three new members willing to assist with the Public Relations Committee. There will be a minimum of two meetings for the committee this year and most correspondence will be done through email and conference calls. Prior experience in marketing and public relations is welcome but definitely not required. Excellent communications skills and writing skills are needed. Specific duties will consist of furthering the efforts of the Public Relations Committee which include:

• Distributing news releases and publicity for activities of the APA-IL Chapter, such as meetings, elections, special projects and awards.
• Maintaining a distribution list for press releases.
• Preparing a public relations plan, with input and approval from the Board.
• Assisting with the development of the APA-IL Annual Report.
• Assisting in planning and promoting the State and Section Conferences.
