No flats, just a wheel-y good time with the APA-CMS!

Even with a last-minute change to our presenter lineup, the Annual APA-IL Chicago Metro Section (APA-IL) Bike Tour went off without a hitch... and, for that matter, no flat tires. Huge thanks to Kurt Facknitz, PE, from Nelson\Nygaard for leading an engaging and informative tour!

This year, we featured the Granville Avenue Complete Streets project on Granville Avenue between Sheridan Road and Kedzie Avenue. Kurt focused on the engagement process with community members and the local alderperson, reducing traffic flows on this stretch of residential streets, making the route safer for all users, and utilizing limited on-street real estate without impacting parking. And the post-ride ice cream at Dairy Star of Lincolnwood was *chef's kiss* perfect!
