Planning & Zoning Commissioner training was held in the City of Elgin on October 30, 2023. Commissioners and City staff attended the session, and discussion was held on commission responsibilities during public hearings, standards for conditional uses and variations, and potential conflicts of interest. The training session was presented by Megan Mack, with Ancel Glink, and Tom Farace, AICP, with the Village of Carol Stream.
