BAR EXAM (3:30 pm - 5:00 pm)
The APA-IL Chicago Metro Section has partnered with Ancel Glink once again for our annual Bar Exam. The planning law session is a realistic simulated law school experience for planners and land use professionals. Back in-person this year at the Haymarket Pub and Brewery, join Ancel Glink's Quorum Forum, as you are tested on some of the most important planning law cases of the year. Everyone will literally "pass the bar" after attending this session, so please stop and have a drink with us before you go.
To help us provide the most beneficial Bar Exam experience, please fill out this 1-question survey about the law topics that most interest you.
CM: 1.0 CM Law Credits approved. For program questions, please email: cms@ilapa.org
NETWORKING (5:00 pm - 7:30 pm)
Immediately following our annual "Bar Exam" Law Session, APA-IL CMS will host the Annual Networking and Mentorship Event at Haymarket Brewery and Pub. Seasoned professionals and planning students will participate in a meet and greet exercise with plenty of time for general networking. Brought to you in partnership with various UIC planning student groups, the event will be a great opportunity to reacquaint with familiar faces while sharing insights and advice about planning practice in the real world. The Networking Event is FREE and includes complimentary appetizers pizza, salad, and snacks! Sorry we can't buy you a beer, but we'll make sure staff are on hand to take your drink order(s).
