Each year, the Illinois Chapter recognizes the best in planning across Illinois with our annual awards program. These plans exemplify the tremendous planning efforts across the State of Illinois.

2026 Award Winners

The Illinois Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA-IL) will be announcing the project winners in later this summer. The service award winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony at the 2026 State Conference, on September 30th. Project and Service Award winners will be invited to the Awards Program. Details will be given to winners.
