Call for Nominations
The Illinois Chapter of the American Planning Association is pleased to invite nominations for the 2014 Chapter Awards Program.
New for 2014, nominations can be submitted in two categories,
Project Awards and Service Awards. In each category there are
Daniel Burnham Award for a Comprehensive
Distinguished Service or
||Planning Advocate Award
||Young Planner Award
The nomination deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2014.

Award winners will be recognized at the
2014 APA-IL State Conference
during a luncheon on
Thursday, October 2, 2014 in Evanston, IL.
Arrangements can be
made for winners unable to attend.
WHY SUBMIT FOR AN AWARD?
- The Chapterís Awards Program affirms the value of your planning work and provides opportunities for local and statewide recognition.
- A multi-disciplinary awards jury provides insight and perspective in the selection of award winners.
- Winners will be invited to a formal presentation of all awards will be made at the
2014 APA-IL State Conference. In addition, members of the APA-IL
Executive Committee will be available to present the awards in the community in
which the project was conducted, or other appropriate venue identified by the
