The Village of Monee Planning and Zoning Commission held a commissioner training session led by APA-IL on January 18th. Michael Blue, FAICP, APA-IL Planning Officials Development Officer, led the session. All the commissioners have been on the commission for only a year or two. While they have a solid understanding of their responsibilities, the chance to participate in the training and discuss their work at an informal session was useful. The group turned the presentation into an in-depth and enjoyable discussion about their work on the commission.
