Plan Commissioner training was held in the Village of South Elgin on September 20, 2023. Plan Commissioners and Village staff attended the session, and discussion was held on standards for special uses and variations, responsibilities of the commission during public hearings, and interactions with the public. The training session was presented by Greg Jones, AICP, with Ancel Glink, and Tom Farace, AICP, with the Village of Carol Stream.
