The 2024 Illinois State Section Conference (APA-ISS) will connect planners throughout Illinois to continuing education, networking opportunities, mobile workshops and more! This annual event promises to be a great value for the money. Earn 9 CM credits including all mandatory CM credits (equity, ethics, law and sustainability!)
This year's Co-Chairs are Jeff Marino, AICP and Daniel Saphiere both at the City of Champaign's Department of Planning & Development.

Region 5 Coordinator Scott Hanson has once again arranged for an in-person watch party. Join Scott and other St. Louis area planners at the City of Collinsville to watch all the virtual conference sessions on both April 25 & April 26. Thanks to Travis Taylor, AICP for the assist!

Time? Doors will open at 8:30 AM. Conference starts at 9:00 AM. Attendees will be able to watch until the end of the sessions each day.
Food? Yes! BOXED Lunches from The Sandwich Shoppe will be offered (and cost covered by APA-IL Illinois State Section) for those in attendance on Thursday 4/25!

Region 5: Friday, May 31, 2024 - late morning to mid-afternoon. Plans are in the works for a spring field trip. Many thanks to Heartlands Conservancy for organizing this trip which is themed around “re-purposing” former golf courses into nature preserves! We’ll travel to at least 2 locations in the Metro East area. Details to follow!
