Illinois Extension will provide the State and Federal Legislative Updates to start the new year. On Thursdays at Noon CST on January 23 and 30, the webinars will feature legislative experts from the Illinois Association of County Board Members and the National Association of Counties.
On January 23rd, Kelly Murray and Taylor Anderson from the Illinois Association of County Board Members will discuss recent and potential changes in legislation that will affect Illinois local governments. On January 30th, Eryn Hurley and Deborah Cox from the National Association of Counties in Washington D.C. will provide a review of current legislation and how it affects county governments. During both webinars, participants will have a chance to ask questions and discuss how to plan for expected changes.
