4/24/20 - From Isolation to Inclusion: LGBTQ+ Communities in Planning & Equity Issues (CM | 1.5)

The world continues to urbanize. This session focuses to different experiences of US trained planners who are living and working outside of the United States. Urban Planning in the United States has European influences but is very much unique and distinct when compared to planning in other countries. Our panel will discuss their experiences working outside the United States and how their experiences as planners has informed and challenged their professional lives working in Germany, the Netherlands and Nigeria. Webinar participants will leave with a better understanding of how planning is truly a universal profession and how fellow planners are embracing the profession on a global scale, meeting some of the greatest challenges of our time.
