AICP members - are you ready to be recognized for making exceptional and sustained contributions to your field? Every two years the American Planning Association, American Institute of Certified Planners opens the nomination window for the AICP College of Fellows (FAICP). The nomination window is now open for the Class of 2024 and nominations are due August 30, 2023.
The APA-IL has received a list of eligible Illinois members and has notified these members via an email.
Please note that the administrative prerequisite for Fellowship of years of AICP membership has been reduced from 15 to 10 for this cohort, the FAICP standards and criteria are not changing. Not everyone who is an AICP member has accomplished enough to be eligible for Fellowship after 10 years. Nominees and nominators should review the primary criteria to evaluate if a nominee qualifies.
If you are an eligible member and are interested in the APA-IL's support for your nomination, a Committee of Illinois FAICPs will be reviewing potential candidates in the coming weeks. Please email admin@ilapa.org to express your interest in becoming FAICP by January 13, 2023.
