Similar to past years, the 2022 APA-IL State Conference will offer sessions in several different formats. This will allow for greater variety and the opportunity for attendees to learn in different ways. We are hoping to have a slate of fantastic sessions and mobile workshops lined up. That’s where you come in!
Is your community working on a Unified Development Ordinance?
Have you found ways to improve your Commissions and Boards?
Are you working on a corridor or subarea plan?
Have you found innovative ways to address missing middle housing or unique economic development challenges?
How about public engagement? GIS? Transportation?
Heck, maybe you know about a unique historical preservation project that is a MUST see for planners in the Chicagoland area.
Share your experience by proposing a conference session! We can all watch Ted Talks and listen to podcasts, but the best source for learning we have is each other.

Are you interested in submitting a session? Here are a couple things to know for 2022:
APA-IL is working with an event consultant, CGi, to run the Call for Sessions.
This year's submission form is different from previous years.
You will need to create a new user name and password for their portal.
IMPORTANT: Download the portal instructions (FOUND HERE) to help guide you through the process.
