2020 APA-IL State Conference keynote speaker, sessions, sponsorship, & registration.

Updated: Aug 28

The APA-IL is proud to announce their 2020 Keynote Address will be on September 17th and will feature Wesley Hamilton, founder of Disabled but Not Really. You might recognize Wes from the premiere of Netflix’s hit show Queer Eye (Season 4, Episode 2), and has been featured countless times in the media, including CNN, ABC News, BBC, CNN, CTV, and TMZ.

Wesley founded Disabled but Not Really in 2015 to provide fitness and nutrition scholarships to those with a physical disability and instill a physically unlimited mindset. He promotes the essential tools of positivity, self-awareness, empowerment, resilience, and acceptance in the face of any challenge. His stories of courage, strength, and perseverance resonate with participants long after every talk he’s delivered.

Workout with Wes!

Not only is Wesley a powerful, positive speaker - he is also a powerful athlete! Wes has been gracious enough to partner with the APA-IL and Chicagoland gyms to bring a virtual workout to conference attendees the morning of September 17th. So get your garage gyms ready, you won't want to miss this challenging, adaptive boot camp-style workout!

Live sessions will be recorded for later viewing (and CM earning). Essentially, YOU get to decide how long and when you’ll be sitting at the computer.

Do I need to be at the computer all day for 3 days? That’s up to you! Attend when you can for as long as you want. Live sessions and Q&A will allow you to interact with speakers and fellow attendees during sessions. Chat with speakers, sponsors, and fellow attendees anytime over the 3 days.

Can I only earn CM in September? You can watch recorded sessions and earn CM until July 2021!

Well, how did I get here?
