10/29 - U.S. DOT Access and Mobility for All Summit

On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will host the free Access and Mobility for All Summit from 1 to 5 p.m. (ET) at U.S. DOT Headquarters. For those unable to attend in person, register for the accompanying webcast which will begin at 2:00 pm EDT.

The summit is intended to raise awareness of DOT and government-wide efforts to improve access and mobility for people with disabilities, older adults, and individuals of low income.

It will offer an opportunity to learn about and provide input on federal and non-federal actions to support expanded access to mobility through new vehicle technologies and emerging service models, with a focus on surface transportation.

The summit will include keynote remarks from Secretary of Transportation Elaine L. Chao and discussions with leaders across academia, industry and government as well as a showcase of innovations enabling expanded access to mobility for people with disabilities.

Register by Tuesday October 22, 2019 to attend in person or by October 28, 2019 to join the webcast.
