CMS will be hosting an event on Wednesday, October 30th discussing the topic of Equitable Development and Inclusive Growth.
Communities of all types are increasingly encountering inclusive growth and equitable development issues. Planners are on the front lines developing innovative new policies and practices to address these issues. CMAP’s recently released On To 2050 plan includes Inclusive Growth as one of its overarching principles and APA has adopted Inclusive Growth as one of its policy priorities in 2019.
This session will focus on inclusive growth and equity development, specifically through a housing lens, discussing what this looks like in different community, neighborhood, and market contexts in the Chicago region. Speakers will include representatives from SB Friedman!
