(version as of 9-10-2017)
#APAIL17 offers a variety of sessions – and CM credit! Click here to review the program and to plan your conference schedule. The schedule is also available through the conference app – keep reading for more information!
It's not too Late! Add a Mobile Workshop...
Be sure to register for a mobile workshop! #APAIL17 offers eight (8) different mobile workshops. If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, register for the Pace Bus-On-Shoulder Service Workshop! Participants will ride an in-service Pace Express Bus from downtown Naperville to Burr Ridge, and back again. During the bus ride, Pace representatives will discuss the success of the bus-on-shoulder program.
Interested in the nuts and bolts of planning? Check out the walking tours of downtown Naperville, Aurora, or Wheaton!
If you already registered for #APAIL17 and would like to add a mobile workshop to your registration, please email Registration Manager, Keith Johnston at kjohnston@i3events.com.
Plan for a Networking Lunch!
Expand your network, learn something new, and enjoy a delicious meal! Similar to last year, #APAIL17 will offer u-pick lunch options on Wednesday and Thursday. This year we’ll offer 3 formats:
FORMAL setting with topics, speakers, and CM credits offered
INFORMAL setting with topics, but no speaker-led discussions
DO NOTHING approach. As planners, we know when things are best left alone. Down time, return emails, hang out with friends... whatever you're reason, we'll give you some options for lunch on your own.
Each morning, please be sure to reserve your seat at the table and sign-up at the APA-IL registration desk. Seating is limited; preconference advanced registration is not available. Everyone is responsible for their own lunch tab.
Reconnect with Classmates, Colleagues, & Friends!
Reconnect with old classmates, colleagues, and friends – and make new connections! #APAIL17 will offer a number of events to connect with other attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors.
Awards Reception and Exhibitor Meet & Greet at Hotel Indigo, 5:30-7:30pm on Wednesday, September 13 – After the awards program, mingle with award winners and exhibitors at the meet and greet. The meet and greet will be held at Elements, a banquet facility located within the Water Street development, home to Hotel Indigo. The event is complimentary to all conference attendees (cash bar).
APA-CMS TODrinks and Exhibitor Meet & Greet at Hotel Indigo, 5:45-6:45pm on Thursday, September 14 – After a day of conference sessions, join us for drinks and talking shop with your fellow planners. No agendas, no speeches – just friends and fun. The event is complimentary to all conference attendees. Non-attendees are welcome (cash bar).
Meet Us at Quigley’s Irish Pub, 7:00pm on Thursday, September 14 – After a day of conference sessions, plan to join us at Quigley’s Irish Pub in downtown Naperville for a pint o’ Guinness (cash bar) with new and old friends. Conference registration not required. Light snacks sponsored by Tier I Sponsor, Hitchcock Design Group.
If you already registered but did not add these events to your registration, please email kjohnston@i3events.com to have them added.
