As we draw another great year to a close, the ISS wants to thank all those who serve this organization and the planning profession. We especially want to thank Phil Dick, AICP of McLean County. Phil has served in a variety of roles, most recently as Past Director. If you think this is the end of the road for Phil, don’t fret, he promises to continue to attend all our events and even host some Citizen Planner Workshops. Thanks for your service, Phil! And as we turn our sights to 2017, the ISS welcomes two new faces: Ben LeRoy of the City of Champaign, will join us as ISS Treasurer. Additionally, Shawn Christ, AICP at the City of Moline, will be re-joining the Chapter as the Region 2 Coordinator, which was recently vacated by Nick Hayward (Ya-hey-der! How 'bout them Badgers Nick?). Thank you, Ben and Shawn, for volunteering and thank you, Nick, for your service and good luck with your future endeavors.
