Homes for a Changing Region Toolkit: Policy Planning to Meet Local Housing Demand

With support from the office of the Illinois Attorney General, the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, and the Metropolitan Planning Council (MPC) have developed a toolkit that provides a step-by-step guide to the Homes for a Changing Region process, which has been tested and refined during the development of housing policy plans completed for over 30 communities. The toolkit includes process guides; a quick-and-easy data analysis model; an interactive case study library of housing strategies; outreach meeting materials; and a vast library of free images that can be used for visual preference surveys. APA-CMS is pleased to co-sponsor this presentation of the Homes for a Changing Region Toolkit, offering insights to this latest interactive resource to support housing initiatives throughout the Chicago region. This program will include lunch as part of the paid registration fee ($20 regular, $10 students).
