Grab a beverage and something to munch on, sit down at your computer or call in, and join your fellow planners online for an hour of conversation and camaraderie.
What can I expect during Coffee Talk?
Each Coffee Talk meets for 1 hour. After a short introduction from each member, we welcome any questions from the group, for the group. Topics can be emailed to webmaster@ilapa.org ahead of time.
Questions can range from how municipalities are working with local restaurants to create outdoor eating spaces to students asking questions about their capstone projects.
APA-IL's Coffee Talks have included students, faculty, municipal planners, plan commissioners, consultants, and those in the not-for-profit sector from Collinsville to Kenosha, WI. Are you a planner or allied professional in-transition? Coffee Talks are a great way to network and stay on top of the latest trends. The APA-IL Membership Committee has organized these virtual networking opportunities to give APA-IL members a chance to network, learn from each other, and blow off a little steam.
