APAIL26 Call for Sessions & Mobile Workshops

It's time to submit your sessions and mobile workshops for the 2026 APA-IL State Conference.

This Year's Theme: Connected Through Planning 

Imagine a thread that runs through everything in our communities. That's planning. Planning reaches out to touch housing, transportation, health, sustainability, economic development, equity, and more, quietly linking systems and people together. This theme celebrates how planning is the constant connector, tying ideas to places and people to partners, to create stronger, more resilient communities.

We’re looking for session proposals that show how planning links professions, ideas, and communities in creative, collaborative ways. If your work embodies this connected spirit, submit your session and help us make this our most connected conference yet!

Call for Sessions: Deadline June 1, 2026

New for 2026, we have prepared a Call for Sessions Guide for you to use as you prepare your session proposal. Review it now and keep it open as you fill out the online form.

Please note:

• The Call for Sessions deadline will not be extended.
• All classroom sessions will be 60 minutes.
• All classroom sessions are limited to 4 speakers.
