On January 28th, one of APA-IL's Diversity Committee members made the trek up to Milwaukee to participate in the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Urban Planning Alumni's 7th Annual Planning and a Pint. Angela Brooks, AICP participated in a thoughtful discussion on how to increase diversity within the Urban Planning field, both generally and in the State of Wisconsin. The UWM Alumni extended a special thanks to Angela traveling all the way up to Milwaukee to participate. The APA-IL would also like to thank her for representing the Chapter and diversity in Illinois!
