Welcome to the official website for the 2011 APA-IL Annual Conference.
We are pleased to have Evanston as our host city. Our committees have
been hard at work to create a program of
sessions,
mobile workshops, and
social events that we are confident you will enjoy.
Our conference site is the historic Hotel Orrington which is
centrally-located in Downtown Evanston with convenient service provided by
both Metra and CTA.
This year’s conference will include some new aspects including a
one-day track for planning officials
and a two-tiered system of sessions to offer
topics at both an introductory and advanced level. Also included are four not to miss social
events including a
guided bike ride and a
pub crawl. In addition, perennial favorites
such as the awards luncheon, opening reception,
5K run and speed
planning are back again this year. We encourage you to explore this website
for more detailed conference information.
