To make these updates official, we need participation from at least 20% of registered CMS members and a simple majority of “Yes” votes. Our Metra Crawl is just around the corner...come check out density planning on the ground |
|
The Chicago Metro Section is excited to bring back the Metra Crawl! Two years ago, CMS hosted this event in Arlington Heights and Park Ridge to see how they responded to pandemic shifts (e.g. changes in commuting patterns and outdoor dining). Building on our planning webinar with the Chaddick Institute this past June, CMS invites you to explore two new downtown destinations and learn about effective TOD planning for density, streetscape design, and related downtown planning efforts. Keep an eye out for more information on this event, which is expected to take place in late October or early November. It will be a fun time to explore suburban downtowns with your fellow planners! Open to all, members and non-members. |
