The CMS Bylaws are going to the Ballot

 

Hello APA-CMS Members,

We’ve hinted at it being in the works, and we are now happy to reveal the final draft of the APA-CMS Bylaws!

To comply with the current APA-CMS bylaws section for bylaws amendments, we are sharing the draft with all of you prior to the elections managed by APA National. This draft will be included on the ballot during APA National elections in August-September of this year.

Our revision looks to bring several needed updates:

1. modernizing the Section bylaws to account for modern methods of communications, such as email and virtual conferencing; 
2. bringing officer titles and descriptions in line with the practice of the past 10+ years while allowing for flexibility or further evolution looking  ahead; 
3. bringing the Section in-line with updates to the APA-IL Chapter bylaws and with peer Sections around the country.
