APA National Website Updates

APA continues to have website issues that may be impacting National APA membership and is continuing the transition to a new data platform. APA-IL will try to keep it's membership updated.

Member Login & Password Reset Issues 

Successfully resetting a password is critical for accessing the APA website and key member benefits. Some members continue to experience difficulty resetting passwords or logging in. There have also been brief, intermittent periods of system-wide login unavailability. Resolving these issues is our top priority.  

APA customer service teams are actively working with members to help them navigate the system and reset their logins as efficiently as possible. Members should check spam/junk folders and allow extra time for reset emails. APA Customer Service at customerservice@planning.org can assist if login errors persist after a password reset. Please note that Customer Service is currently handling a higher-than-normal volume of calls and emails, so response times may be longer than usual. 

CM Provider Dashboard Access & CM Logging

Restoration of dashboard access is underway, with full access expected by early January. Some AICP members are also unable to log CM credits, often due to the login issues noted above. 

To account for these disruptions, the CM grace period has been extended to May 31, 2026, providing additional time for both providers and members. AICP members and CM providers experiencing these issues should contact AICPCM@planning.org

Membership Renewals & AICP Reinstatements
APA members renewing their membership online are unable to generate an invoice. In addition, AICP reinstatements are temporarily unavailable while the reinstatement process is being fully transitioned into the new system. 

Members who require a formal invoice should contact Customer Service for assistance. For questions regarding AICP reinstatements, contact AICPCM@planning.org.  

Standalone Division Enrollment & Passport Purchases 

Standalone Division enrollment is currently unavailable, though Division enrollment is possible when a member joins for the first time, or renews their membership. Passport subscriptions are available for purchase using a temporary subscription link until stand-alone product purchases are restored. 

Members are encouraged to select Division memberships at the time of their renewal. Passport subscriptions are available at any time using this temporary subscription link, which will also be available on the APA website.  

Chapter Job Boards

Chapter job boards are currently not accepting new postings.  

We are working on restoring full functionality and will notify chapter leaders as soon as this has been resolved. 

Chapter & Division Website Redirects

After logging in on chapter or division sites, a technical issue causes users to be sent to My APA instead of returning them to the originating site.  

While APA works on a permanent resolution, members can manually navigate to the chapter or division site after logging in.  

Access to PAS Reports

Member access to download PAS reports is currently unavailable. 

Content is not lost. APA will notify members once access is restored.
