Become an APA Ambassador - Application Window Opens 12/1/19

November 13, 2019

APA Ambassadors are planners who connect with schools and youth programs. Ambassadors are an important part of APA’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy to create a profession reflective of our communities and enhance community knowledge of the planning process. Benefits of joining the program include pro bono CM credits and access to national online forum to share resources and form local teams.

Illinois Ambassadors can plug into existing programs such as i-NOMA's Project PipelineTerritory, or connect with a school in their area.

ISS members can contact the Illinois State Section Director Ben LeRoy, at iss@ilapa.org, to learn more about downstate opportunities. For Chicago area opportunities or general APA Ambassadors questions, contact Marcella Bondie Keenan at diversity@ilapa.org.

Thank you to our 2019 APA Ambassador Brittanii Batts and emeritus Illinois APA Ambassadors! The application window for the 2020 Ambassadors program opens on December 1, 2019 at planning.org/ambassadors/.
