The APA-IL Diversity Committee is excited to bring its second annual Equity in Planning Panel discussion back to UIC. This year’s panel discussion will focus on issues of diversity and inclusion in the field of transportation.
This event is generously sponsored by Women's Transportation Seminar Greater Chicago Chapter (WTS), an international organization dedicated to building the future of transportation through the global advancement of women and UIC's student planning groups, including the Urban Planning and Policy Student Association (UPPSA), Women in Planning and Public Administration (WPPA), Society of Black Urban Planners (SBUP), and the Latino Planning Organization for Development, Education, and Regeneration (LPODER).
The two-hour panel discussion will be followed by 1½ hour breakout session aimed at bringing together planning students and planning professional from a wide variety of backgrounds.
