Associate Planner, City of Collinsville, IL

The City of Collinsville is accepting applications for the Position of Associate Planner. This is a full-time, non-union, exempt position that reports to the Director of Community Development.

The Position of Associate Planner entails responsibility for the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of economic, technical land use, zoning and other City Planning data; ensures compliance with the City's development standards.

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in urban planning, geography, economics, or a related field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid Driver's License.

Salary range begins at $45,000 to $55,000, depending on qualifications. The City of Collinsville offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, dental, vision and prescription 100% funded by the City for single coverage. Pension is with the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund system.
