A series of three workshops taught by award winning Architectural Illustrator Bruce Bondy is for planning and design professionals looking to develop fundamental drawing skills. Whether a novice at drawing or a veteran seeking to hone your chops you will learn to draw with the confidence to illustrate your ideas and communicate more effectively with clients and colleagues. The workshop is a hands-on experience with group instruction, demos, and one-on-one coaching feedback. You will come away energized and excited about drawing and with the tools to develop your visualization skills in your professional practice. Part 1 (Thursday, February 11, 2016) Basic Drawing Fundamentals. Topics covered: Basic 3 dimensional drawing techniques, comparative drawing skills (drawing what you see), imaginative drawing and visualization skills (drawing what you know), analytical drawing, simplifying form, measurement, proportion, linework, and simple value scales. Introduction to productive doodling skills.
