Healthy Communities Illinois is a collaborative effort between the American Planning Association - Illinois Chapter (APA-IL) and the Illinois Public Health Institute (IPHI). The website connects ideas and resources in urban planning and public health to create healthy communities in Illinois.

Award Winning Plans
What does a good plan look like? The Illinois Chapter maintains a digital library of plans that have won an award from the APA-IL. Award winning plans were submitted to the APA-IL, selected by a jury of peers, and presented at the annual Awards Luncheon. The wide variety of plans represents the many ways that the APA-IL makes great communities happen throughout Illinois!
