You have the option to join the APA-IL with an American Planning Association (APA) Membership or with a Chapter-Only Membership.

Are you a student? You're in luck! Membership with the American Planning Association (APA) is free for any student, with any major, actively enrolled or matriculated in any university or college degree program. Student membership includes chapter and division memberships too.
Join APA-IL with a Chapter-Only Membership
Chapter-Only Membership is a great choice for anyone who would like to become engaged in planning issues in Illinois. Chapter-Only Membership is an option for non-traditional planners, allied professionals, plan commissioners, elected officials, engaged citizens and those that want to stay up-to-date on the latest Illinois planning issues. Some of the benefits of Chapter-Only Membership include opportunities for continuing education, networking events, and registration at our state conference, all at the member rate. Chapter-Only Membership with APA-IL costs $50 annually.
Join the American Planning Association, APA-IL Membership Included
The American Planning Association (APA) is a national organization of approximately 40,000
members with an interest in creating great places to live and work! The APA community is a diverse network of planners, allied professionals, public officials, educators, students, and engaged citizens who are applying the benefits of planning to cities, towns, and neighborhoods nationwide.
