FAQ - We've had a few questions asked and we would like to share them with you!

  • Are there restrictions on the number of student award nominations that can come from a single institution?  No. Institutions can have multiple submissions. The submissions must be for different projects (not the same projects in different categories).

  • Is faculty responsible for the nomination if it’s only one, or can it be someone else?
The nominator could be any APA-IL member. The form asks for the nominator's contact information and if the nominator is the contact for the project there is space to add the project's contact information. In the case of student projects, it could be a student or faculty member that makes the nomination as long as they are a member of the APA-IL.

  • Is the letter of support from a funding agency required if a student project did not receive funding for the work? Students should provide a letter of support from faculty member that supported their work.
